Cattle Egret on Phase 1 mid morning, then flew strongly West; also subadult Yellow-legged Gull (permit only). 4 Little Ringed Plover, 8 Lapwing, 2 Lesser Whitethroat.

Also 2 Lesser Emperor and 10+ Red-veined Darter dragonflies, both scarce/recent colonisors. Painted Lady butterflies, Small Heaths etc other highlights.
